Hello! I teach 7th grade Spanish (beginner level). My class sizes range from 15-25 students. At my school, world language classes are not leveled. I have a huge mix of abilities in my classes. I have everything from on target learners, native speakers, students who are below 7th grade reading level, behavior issues (OD etc.) I am looking for strategies that you have used to hit all of the levels that might be represented in one class. Any suggestions for students with IEP's who shut down when the task seems too difficult? I have some students who fight having a modified assignment, but cannot complete the assignment in its original form.
Thank you in advance,
Jessica
